A video available on Youtube:

New functions provided by ZeptoPad 1.5
Copy / paste of multiple figures and texts

Three display modes available.
Instead of the single display mode originally offered, ZeptoPad 1.5 will allow users to choose from a total of three different display modes: plain, ruler, and grid. An especially high level of demand had been expressed for the grid display function.

Zoom out function
After using the ZeptoPad special feature which allows the screen to be expanded and higher levels of detail in drawings, users will now be able to zoom out so as to quickly display entire drawings within a single screen.

Redo function
In addition to the undo function offered previously, ZeptoPad 1.5 will also include a redo function, providing users with a greater level of control to edit content.

Rotate / expand / shrink
In addition to the move function offered previously, ZeptoPad 1.5 will allow users to rotate, expand, and shrink imported images and the entire drawn area of text and figures.

About ZeptoPad
ZeptoPad allows users to write and draw on their iPhone with a freedom that rivals the experience of using a paper notebook. “Zepto” is a prefix in the International System of Units denoting 10 to the negative 21st power.Accordingly, this application was developed to allow users to sketch without limitations, expanding and shrinking worksheets as they see fit. While previous note-taking applications have always focused on memorization, the aim of ZeptoPad is to support the act of thinking.

Main functions of ZeptoPad

Text input
Users are able to record text data inputted via the keypad.

Handwritten note-taking
In order to create figures which would be difficult to construct using text alone, users can input data by handwriting on the touchscreen. Data with a much higher level of detail can therefore be recorded.

Using this function, users can bring up a list of the worksheets they have created.

Worksheet sharing (Shake&Share function)
To share a worksheet, users can either attach it as an image to an email and then send it, or transmit it to another ZeptoPad via Wi-Fi (using the Shake&Share function).

Note: A worksheet can be transmitted with the Shake&Share function when two iPhones (iPod touches) have ZeptoPad installed, are connected to the same Wi-Fi access point, and are then shaken up and down simultaneously.

Apple files patent for multi-touch plus

September 6, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment

So far, the multi-touch interface on the iPhone has kind of just been a novelty. Sure, it changes the way we use the phone, but it hasn’t completely overhauled the way we think about interacting with technology. However, Apple has now filed a patent app that could be pointing to future multi-touch functions and bringing them beyond taps, swipes and pinches.

Apple iPhone App Review Site Provides 24/7 iPhone News

September 6, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment

St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) September 4, 2008 — The new Apple iPhone has set the world of technology on fire with excitement. Millions of users around the world have already became completely dependent upon the convenience offered to them from their iPhones. The state-of-the-art devices are a sleek combination of a full-service telephone, a large-screen iPod and an Internet browser all in one. iPhone users keep their entire lives stored electronically within the small confines of these 4.8-ounce super smart phones.

Bruce Marler, developer of the iPhone review website,, saw the immense demand for the iPhone early on. He created the website as a one-stop informational source for iPhone users to clarify any questions about their devices; review new iPhone apps; communicate with others and offer their reviews and comments.

Marler states, “ was created to provide a 24/7 aggregated news source for the quickly growing iPhone user base. People are fascinated with the new Apple iPhone - and they have a lot of questions.”

The Apple iPhone has set new sales records for similar devices worldwide, making the Blackberry and other products all but obsolete. Quite frankly, the competition is embarrassed. From ordinary people who just want the world’s coolest phone to software application developers, the Apple iPhone appeases and thoroughly pleases all. Marler further states, “ has quickly become a leader in the Apple iPhone apps review and news space. I am very pleased with the growth of our user base. The website has quickly became the “go-to” place for new app reviews and product information.”

As the site continues to experience massive traffic, it is also continually enhanced. Besides nearly-constant information and iPhone apps additions, the site will soon offer even more for the convenience of its visitors. “ will continue to add new features and functionality to the site and will soon offer a forum focusing on Apple iPhone apps. We are here for the long-run advantages of our visitors,” Marler concludes.

More than 2 Billion Mobile Users Will Have Bought Digital Goods With Their Phones by 2013

September 6, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment

Hampshire, UK – 5th August 2008: A new analysis of the global mobile payments opportunity forecasts that 2.1bn mobile subscribers will “pay by mobile” for digital goods downloaded to their mobile phones by 2013. Juniper Research defines digital goods as music (ringtones and full tracks), tickets, TV, user-generated content, infotainment and games – in fact any content bought by phone and delivered to the phone.

A region by region analysis by Juniper Research found that there is a significant growth opportunity not only for mobile payment systems, software, support and consultancy services vendors, but also for mobile operators to increase their ARPU as transaction frequencies accelerate.

Report author Howard Wilcox stated: “Many digital content goods and services are becoming basic ‘must haves’ – particularly in the sub 35 age group. Devices like the iPhone – even in its 3G incarnation - are undoubtedly contributing to consumer awareness and usage of mobile music services. People who are 15 to 20 today will expect to buy directly with their phones and will drive this market over the next few years.”

Highlights from the report include:

• Users are forecast to make at least two payment transactions per month for digital goods by 2013
• Nearly half of all mobile phone users will have bought digital goods at least once with their phones by 2013
• The two leading regions (Western Europe and Far East & China) will account for over 50% of the total digital goods gross transaction market value by 2013.

Howard Wilcox continued: “Even though typical transaction sizes will remain in the $3-$5 bracket a sufficient number of users will be using their mobiles to buy music, games, tickets, infotainment and the other digital goods sufficiently often to see gross transaction value grow nearly seven fold by 2013.”

The report also focuses on purchases of physical goods – ranging from gifts to household goods to electronics – via the mobile web. It provides six year regional forecasts of mobile payments for digital & physical goods, providing data on subscriber take-up, transaction sizes and volumes as well as detailed case studies from companies pioneering in this market. Juniper Research interviewed 37 senior executives across a wide range of vendors and operators.
